Revive Harmony
Revive Joy transmits warmth and welcoming energy at 48” x 60” dye-sublimation fine print on metal. It’s feminine and mystical tone is mixed with raw nature to activate a sense of “arriving home.” The image is part of my Spring Revival series — a group of Imaginary Beings to bring a sense of continuous rebirth and revival into your home.
The series started with pure admiration of spring blooms. In Boulder, Colorado, we have very short shoulder seasons and tree blossoms are often short lived. In one spring, many trees bloomed before the leaves unfolded, offering explosions of pinks and reds on bare branches. These photographs served as the base symbol of renewal.
In this image, the figure is stepping out of a nest of branches. The mirror image of the spring blooms creates an intricate mid-line in the figure, signifying energy centers in the human body and a fractal representation of all matter. She is a symbol of renewal, revival and elegant natural order.
